Why holiday in Lee-on-the-Solent?

Lee-on-the-Solent is a coastal town 5 miles west of Portsmouth in the Borough of Gosport. It was once a favoured bathing place for Victorians because of the pebbled beach which gently slopes into the sea. Today, Lee is very popular with all kinds of water sports enthusiasts, with dedicated areas of the beach for dinghy sailors, wind-surfers, kite surfers, jet skiers and gliders.

The Chart House is a small detached family home situated less than 150 metres from the sea front, in a quiet residential road.

 

The house has three bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of six.

Brook and Marion bought the Chart House  in 1996.  

Originally built in 1913, it was modernised by the previous owners although period features such as the Edwardian open tiled fireplace remain. It is a comfortable, fully equipped house, gas centrally heated and double glazed.
